What's In A Name?

Why the name "Bowside"?

 Just under a year ago, Meredith fell in love with the sport of rowing...

​

The seat closest to the front (or bow) of the boat is called the "bow seat." This person is responsible for setting a steady rhythm and helping steer the boat.

​

The bow seat plays a crucial role in balance, precision, maintaining smooth movement, and helping guide the boat’s direction, often acting as a stabilizer for the entire crew. 

​

Similarly, Bowside People & Operations Consulting embodies the role of the bow seat—providing steady leadership, ensuring balance, and guiding organizations toward smooth, forward momentum while empowering the entire team to row together effectively.
